This Privacy Policy explains how Yeldo Suisse SA ("Yeldo Suisse", "we", "us") processes personal data when you visit this website (www.yeldosuisse.ch). We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
When you access this website, our hosting provider automatically collects and stores technical information transmitted by your browser, such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the pages visited, the referring page and information about your browser and operating system. This data is used to operate and secure the website and is not combined with other data to identify you.
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you choose to share with us (for example your name, contact details and the content of your message) in order to respond to your enquiry.
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Your cookie preferences are saved in your browser's local storage (key ys-cookie-consent), not in a cookie. Optional third-party services (see section 4) are loaded only after you have given your consent.
Some services are provided by third parties. Where a service transfers data to a country outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA (in particular the United States), such transfers are safeguarded by the provider's contractual and certification mechanisms (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US / Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework).
The fonts used on this website are self-hosted and served directly from our own website. No font data is requested from, or sent to, any third party.
On our "Who we are" page we offer an embedded map from Google Maps to show our office location. The map is loaded only after you actively choose to load it. When loaded, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
If you consent to the "Statistics" category, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website (for example which pages are viewed) on an aggregated basis. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data such as a truncated IP address. Analytics is not loaded unless and until you give consent, and you can withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
You can review or change your choices at any time by selecting in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf (for example our hosting provider and the third-party services listed above), and only to the extent necessary. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by applicable law. Server log data is stored for a limited period and then deleted or anonymised. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and to comply with legal obligations.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request access to your personal data and to obtain its rectification or erasure, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent you have given. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details in section 1.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU/EEA, your local data protection authority.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission over the internet is, however, completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our website or to legal requirements. The current version, with its "last updated" date, always applies.
For any questions about this Privacy Policy or the processing of your personal data, please contact us at the address given in section 1. See also our Imprint.
